Managing Your Ad - Description/Details

1. Are updates to the text or description to my online ad free?

Yes. Login to your account and choose the ad you wish to edit.

2. I cannot place my ad because it contains an inappropriate word. How do I know what words are not acceptable?

If you cannot place your ad or your ad is unapproved because of an inappropriate word, you can call us or submit a help ticket and we will be glad to point out where the error occurred and offer you alternative wording solutions to get your ad placed.

3. How do I edit the description of my ad?

Login to your account and click 'Edit' on the ad you want to change, you will be able to change your description in the ad details part of your ad.

4. How do I edit the title of my ad?

After you login to your account, click 'Edit' on the ad that you wish to change. You will then be able to change the title of your ad.

5. How do I edit my contact information?

If you login to your account and click 'Edit' on the ad that is in question you will be able to change your contact information in the Ad Details part of your ad.

6. How do I change my newspaper ad?

Please call the newspaper in which you placed your ad. Our local customer service representatives will be able to make the changes for you.

7. Can I change my ad online without changing my print ad?

Yes. Login to your classifieds account and edit the online portion of your ad.

8. What if I want to change the price of my item?

If you login to your account and click 'Edit' on the ad you wish to change, you will be able to change the price of your ad.

9. Can I edit my print ad description after it has been published?

If you need to make edits to your print ad, please call the newspaper in which the ad was placed. Our local customer service representatives will be happy to assist you. Please keep in mind that you can only make edits as long as you don’t add or subtract from your line count.

10. What if I don't see make (of my car), location (area, county, city of my house) of my garage ad, in the selection area?

If you do not see a make, model, location or general area for your ad please contact us and we will assist you with the placement of your ad.

11. How many characters are contained in 1 line of the print ad?

This varies from newspaper to newspaper. If you would like to know how many characters can be placed in one line of print please use our Newspaper Directory ,and call the newspaper.
